#14 Yes, You Can Navigate the Crises of Life- By Evelyn Stone: Prenatal Center President, Professor and Dean of Biblical Counseling, Lima, Peru
What is a CRISIS? It’s a time of intense trouble or danger accompanied by uncertainty; a situation which requires difficult decisions to be made with significant consequences one way or another.
In 1999 the Lord directed Missionary Evelyn Stone to begin a new ministry to women in “crisis pregnancies” in Lima, Peru where she and her husband David had been serving since 1978. A prenatal center was planted near a college campus in the capital city of Lima, Peru, and over the years expanded its impact to multiple countries – and continents. It was clear from the beginning that the Bible was the best guide for navigating such situations, beginning with the transforming work of the Gospel.
Today Evelyn also serves as Professor and Dean of Biblical Counseling in Lima and has written extensively on the topic of using crisis counseling as opportunities to share Christ with others. Join her workshop to learn how Scripture can help you navigate your own crises, and then how you – yes you – can share it with others in the trials they face.
