Northeast Fellowship loves single adults – and offers this new opportunity designed especially for them. We welcome single adults in our churches to come together for an afternoon of Serving Christ Together – through service projects and sharing a meal.
HOW IT STARTED: For our inaugural ministry opportunity, in the Fall of ’22, Pines Brook Baptist of Walton, NY invited Christian singles to help them reach their community with a gospel witness and invitation to the church.
WHERE IT’S GOING: Have we got big news for you! Numerous new dates are in the works! And the first two of these are ready to be announced:

Event Theme: Canvassing for Summer Vacation Bible School
Type of Ministry: Door-to-Door canvassing in the local neighborhoods
Ministry Description: We will meet at the church and divide into teams for door-to-door outreach. Along with VBS flyers, we will also have pre-packaged materials to hand out that will include: a church brochure, Gospel tract, booklet of John and Romans, and a Bible app. There will be a member of our church with each team to drive your group to an area where you can help canvass for VBS and also take the opportunity to share the gospel with those you meet. If you are not comfortable with sharing the gospel in a door-to-door setting, we will make sure you are teamed with someone who is! We want you to come and enjoy this afternoon with us whether you are experienced in visitation, or will be doing it for the first time!
Saturday Snapshot:
Arrive at Holmesville Baptist at 1:00 p.m.
Set up teams, pray, and go share God’s Word in our community.
Return to the church gym by 3:00 p.m. for games and activities.
Share testimonies and a devotion, as well as dinner served at 4:45 p.m.
Stay and enjoy fellowship and the gym as long as you’d like after dinner!

#2 – ENCOUNTER!
To All Single Adults in the NF: March 28, 2024
As we desire to foster Christian Fellowship and Great Commission Ministry among our Single Adult Community, there is an exciting and time sensitive opportunity coming in July! We have an hour-glass reservation that will expire on April 19th to secure SEVEN approved applicants to travel with us to NYC, Philadelphia, and New Jersey with the Friends of Israel (FOI) for a Jewish immersion experience from July 24-28!
The event is called Encounter.
The cost is $500.00. A Missionary Fundraising Platform will be extended to each approved applicant who needs financial assistance.
Won’t you pray and consider joining us as we encounter the Jewish community outside of Israel? We don’t have much time. For the NF Singles to secure their own private tour-van…we need to individually apply and be approved by April 19, 2024! (The money is not due until June)
Here are some things we’ll encounter together:
- A Jewish walking tour led by a Hasidic Jewish tour guide in Brooklyn, NY
- The famous Katz’s Deli in Lower Manhattan
- An Orthodox Sabbath service at the oldest synagogue in America
- New Jewish friends around the lunch table
- The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry Headquarters
- A presentation by a local Jewish advocate for the State of Israel
- Participation in a service project for the Jewish community
