Northeast Fellowship loves single adults – and offers this new opportunity designed especially for them. We welcome single adults in our churches to come together for an afternoon of Serving Christ Together – through Great Commission service projects and sharing a meal.
HOW IT STARTED: For our inaugural ministry opportunity, in the Fall of ’22, Pines Brook Baptist of Walton, NY invited Christian singles to help them reach their community with a gospel witness and invitation to the church.

Event Theme: Canvassing for Summer Vacation Bible School
Type of Ministry: Door-to-Door visitation in the local neighborhoods
Ministry Description: We will meet at the church and divide into teams for door-to-door outreach. Along with VBS flyers, we will also have pre-packaged materials to hand out that will include: a church brochure, Gospel tract, booklet of John and Romans, and a Bible app business card.
There will be a member of our church with each team to drive your group to an area where you can invite residents to the upcoming VBS and also take the opportunity to share the gospel with those you meet. If you are not comfortable with sharing the gospel in a door-to-door setting, we will make sure you are teamed with someone who is! We want you to come and enjoy this afternoon with us whether you are experienced in visitation, or will be doing it for the first time!
Saturday Snapshot:
Arrive at Holmesville Baptist at 1:00 p.m.
Set up teams, pray, and go share God’s Word in our community.
Return to the church gym by 3:00 p.m. for games and activities.
Share testimonies and a devotion, as well as dinner served at 4:45 p.m.
Stay and enjoy the gym and fellowship as long as you’d like after dinner!

#2 – ENCOUNTER! JULY 24-28, 2024
To All Single Adults in the NF: March 28, 2024
As we desire to foster Christian
fellowship and Great Commission ministry opportunities among the Northeast Fellowship Single Adult Community, we are happy to announce an exciting and time sensitive opportunity coming in July! The event is called Encounter – a Jewish immersion experience with The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry. It takes place in New York City, New Jersey and Philadelphia.
Here are some things we’ll encounter together: 
- A Jewish walking tour led by a Hasidic Jewish tour guide in Brooklyn, NY
- The famous Katz’s Deli in Lower Manhattan
- An Orthodox Sabbath service at the oldest synagogue in America
- New Jewish friends around the lunch table
- The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry Headquarters in Bellmawr, New Jersey
- A presentation by a local Jewish advocate for the State of Israel
- Participation in a service project for the Jewish community
For the NF Singles to secure their own private tour-van…we need to individually apply and be approved by April 19, 2024. The cost is $500.00 but the money is not due until June. A Missionary Fundraising Platform will be extended to each approved applicant who needs financial assistance.

It’s a great opportunity to experience Jewish people and their culture and to allow God to expand your heart for them and their salvation.

#3 – Motorcycling Day! – August 24, 2024

- Meeting place: Glen Baptist Church, Watkins Glen New York
- Meeting time: 11:00 am

- Type of Ministry: We will be assisting a sister church with some work projects which include outdoor maintenance and indoor painting.
- Ministry Description: We are very encouraged to partner up with North East Fellowship and play a part in bringing single adults together to serve our church and enjoy a nice ride down beautiful, vibrant Keuka Lake. We look forward to opening up our church to you all! This is a great opportunity for us to serve together and cross paths maybe in a way we wouldn’t have ordinarily. Thank you for being willing to “do good to all, but especially to those who are of the household of faith.” (Gal. 6:10)
