RENEW Speakers and Workshops

“Footprints of Faith” Keynote and Workshop Speakers

A word from Julie Manwarren, Keynote Speaker:

You matter. You make a profound impact every day in the place you live, the people you interact with, and the purpose God has equipped you for and called you to. What if the “dailyness” of your everyday life matters more than you realize? What if there is a unique and eternally impactful legacy you can leave?

To be a woman whose footprints of faith are such that others can follow, you and I need to be bold to step out in faith and follow God. To do that, we need to have God in the highest place in our hearts and lives.

Join me at the RENEW Women’s Conference in September as we take a look at Old Testament kings and one king in particular whose story points to Christ and whose life and leadership left a legacy of faithfulness. Learn about the people who influenced him and the impact our lives can have on others. Be encouraged to make an eternal difference, not only for those in your life now, but for those who come after you.

PRINTABLE LIST OF WORKSHOPS BY CONFERENCE LOCATION

September 14, 2024 at Grace Baptist Church, Batavia, NY

1. Sharing Christ with Your Story – Tori Reed with Justine Vogt, Batavia, NY.  God writes the story of your life, and it is a powerful and natural way to share the gospel with others. In this workshop we will learn to see God’s hand at work in your life and how you can share who God is in a way that weaves the gospel threads into your conversations with others who have yet to come to know Him!

2. Imprints on Our Hearts  – Jody Riley,  Townville, PA.  TESTIMONY: Hear the true story of a young girl at risk (now adult) and those who left an imprint on her heart, shaping the trajectory of her life and ministry forever.

3. The Deconstruction of Christianity – Jami Bartz, Batavia, NY.  Many of us likely know someone who has walked away from their faith or is in the process of “deconstructing”. What does that even mean and what should we as God’s people do about it?

4. Leaving a Legacy Video – Ellie Ledin, Inheritance of Hope.org Sharing what’s most important to you with those who are most important to you … on video. “There is absolutely no downside to making a legacy video.” Have you lost loved ones and still grieve the loss of their presence and the sound of their voice? Would you give anything to see their face and hear their stories again? A legacy video is the precious gift of sharing your faith story and meaningful messages for your loved ones – at no cost to you. Come to this informative workshop to learn more. For those who are ready to follow through, video counselors will be available (remotely) after the workshop (Optional. No cost).  Handouts and Question starters

5. Biblical Stewardship of Your Financial Legacy – Abbey Gwin*, Countryside Financial, NY.  What is the best way to honor the command to be good stewards with regard to our finances?  This workshop focuses specifically on best practices for “laying up treasures in heaven” through estate planning.

6. Praying Together for Loved Ones Who Are Lost – Brian King, Northeast Fellowship.  “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, everyone, to his own way.” (Isaiah 53:6)  We’ll spend time together discussing both HOW to pray and actually praying FOR the people who are dear to us but away from the Lord.

7. Following the Footprints of Paul: Learning How to Show and Tell the Gospel – Jeannie Vogel, Northeast Fellowship. Where would we be if someone (parent, friend, coworker or concerned stranger) had not shared the gospel with us? Let’s learn from Paul’s example how to live out the gospel and also boldly share it in love with those around us.

11. Redeeming the Little Years – Hannah Merkh, Clarks Summit, PA Many mothers look at the first years of parenting as lost years—time inundated with the necessary but often monotonous activities of motherhood with little results and even less rest.
