TOP TO BOTTOM FUND

Our Northeast Fellowship Ministry Center serves our churches as a site for Northeast School of Theology and Ministry, the home of our Help Yourselves Shelves free library of biblical resources, and our ministry headquarters.  It currently needs a new roof (removing skylights, repairing leaks) and driveway (paving and expanded parking).

Thanks for your consideration of this project.  You can make contributions directly with checks payable to “Northeast Fellowship”, with “Top To Bottom Fund” on the memo line, mailed to 2293 Grand Central Avenue, Horseheads, NY 14845, or via this EZRegister online opportunity: https://ezregister.com/events/40041/

If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each of you is a member of it.

through the Northeast Fellowship

Next Event is Saturday, September 9

HOST CHURCH: First Baptist Church – 876 Central Ave Dunkirk, NY 14048  DunkirkBaptist.org

HOST PASTOR: Mark Massaro / pastormark@dunkirkbaptist.org

EVENT THEME: Back to Church Outreach   (see dunkirkbaptist.org/backtochurch)

TYPE OF MINISTRY: Door to Door invitations for an upcoming church outreach event.

MINISTRY DESCRIPTION: You are invited to partner with FBC – Dunkirk and others from across our fellowship in the work of the Gospel – inviting our immediate neighbors to Back to Church Sunday – an annual outreach event. You will pair up or form teams of three to walk through and canvas our neighborhood with door hanger invitations. If someone is home, you are encouraged to personally invite them and offer to pray for any immediate needs or concerns. We have a large Spanish-speaking community, so anyone with basic Spanish skills would have an opportunity to use that for God’s glory.

The sincerity of your faith and the earnestness of your desire to bless, serve and love those you meet will make a lasting and useful impression for First Baptist Church, the Kingdom of Christ, and to the glory of God.

SATURDAY SCHEDULE:

1pm – Arrive at FBC-Dunkirk to meet your co-laborers. Officially get started with prayer, basic instructions, the day’s mission, our goals for the day, mapping out who goes where, and handing out the invitation resources.

1:30 – 3:30pm – Head out into our community and serve the Lord together.

3:30 – 4:45pm – Return to the church for fellowship, group activity and encouragement from God’s Word. Weather permitting, we may be able to gather at Lake Erie instead of the church.

5pm – Return to church to share your ministry highlights or testimonies over dinner.

6pm head home!
