#1 Glorifying God in Times of Disappointment, Even When Our Feelings Say Otherwise – by Ana Ayers (Breesport, NY)

In the midst of the hardships of life, we can become blind to the divine purpose behind it all. Rather than being overwhelmed by discouragement, let us look to the promises of God and learn to CHOOSE a sacrifice of praise and worship through the power of the Holy Spirit.

#2 Broken Cisterns: Choosing fullness in an Unfulfilling Marriage – by Andrea Hicks (Geneseo, NY)

Most wives long for a “full” and healthy relationship with their husbands. But even Christians will admit that deep “cracks” have been growing through the years. Of course, no marriage is perfect, but perhaps 21st century idolatry is to blame. Come hear the story of God’s work in this marriage and find hope for the “broken cisterns” of your own.

#3 – How to Make a Major Decision…Well!  Arriving at the Wisest Choice – By Brian King (Northeast Fellowship Director)

How do you handle making a big decision?  Scripture helps us consider all the factors facing us and arrive at the wisest conclusion.  This can eliminate fear on the front end and regret in the aftermath.

#4 Chosen & Redeemed: Cherished by God, Adopted as his Own, Restored for His Glory – By Fawn Maue (Waverly, NY)

Hear the powerful testimony of a young woman’s earthly adoption, her spiritual adoption in Christ, and what it means to be chosen, cherished, and made new after years of living for self. This session invites women to see how every CHOICE —especially in the hardest moments—can lead to freedom, identity, and a life that brings glory God.

#5 The Parent-Adult Child Dynamic: Biblical choices That Lead to Stronger Relationships – By Barb Mower (Pastor’s Wife, Preble, NY)
Is the relationship with your adult child not what you were expecting? Shifting into awkwardness? Broken for seemingly no reason? God’s Word gives perspective and principles you may not have considered that can help you strengthen the bond which once seemed unbreakable.

#6 – Work of Art: Making Your Words Memorable for All the Right Reasons – By Brian King (Northeast Fellowship Director)
It’s no understatement when Proverbs 18:21 states “Death and life are in the power of the tongue”.
By selecting our words wisely and sharing them thoughtfully, we can make them life-giving works of art.

#7 A Million Little Choices: How Walking in the Spirit will Transform Your Life – By Jeannie Vogel (Revive Our Hearts Ambassador)

The Holy Spirit is often the least known Person of the Trinity, yet He plays a vital role in every believer’s life. He teaches, guides, empowers, and transforms us into the likeness of Christ. As we learn to recognize His work in and through us, we begin to experience the fruit of the Spirit.  This growth is not instantaneous. Instead, it takes place through countless small decisions to surrender to the Spirit’s leading day by day.

Serving alongside husbands in full-time ministry is full of experiences that showcase God at work in peoples’ lives, including our own.  But sometimes the job description doesn’t seem to fit with our personalities or backgrounds. Did God really choose ME for this role? Listen in on this panel of ministry wives and be encouraged that yes, God has CHOSEN you specifically for this role.

#9 When Waiting is a Choice: A Single Girl’s Walk with God – By Millie Cowles (Farmer’s Wife and Bible Teacher, Dresserville, NY)
“Wait on the Lord”, the Bible says.  But why? and for how long? This is not how we thought our lives would play out.
Be encouraged! A season of waiting is active and may be very full and rewarding as we CHOOSE to take the opportunities that God gives to serve and learn and grow.

#10 Cultivating a Relationship with God: Choosing His Word in Every Season of Life – By Ruth Eshleman (Associate Pastor’s Wife, New Woodstock, NY)

What if your favorite Bible reading plan just doesn’t seem to fit any more? What once was a non-negotiable appointment in our day might be hard to maintain as the years go by. In order to cultivate a relationship with God, we must regularly be in God’s Word, but how that study time looks will vary throughout our seasons of life.
