Event Theme:  Hope for the Holidays

Type of Ministry:  Ministry Table at local grocery store and Neighborhood Calling.

Ministry Description:  Whether working the Ministry Table at our local grocer or venturing out into our community via Neighborhood Calling, we will all have the same Gospel resources to take with us and share with those we encounter in God’s providence.  Included in each gift bag will be a Thanksgiving Tract, Christmas Tract, selected Daily Bread devotionals on Loneliness, a church pen, and a ministry card.  In addition, we will be supplying a strategic Christian survey to help engage meaningful discussion with those we meet.  To assist with encouraging “strangers” to take the brief survey, a $7.00 gift card to our local grocery store will be offered to each one who takes the survey.  But, having said all this, the fact remains, that the greatest resource our community will receive, is Christ in you, the hope of glory.  The sincerity of your faith and the earnestness of your desire to bless, serve and love those you meet, will make a lasting and useful impression, by the grace of God and for the glory of Christ.

Saturday Snapshot:

• Arrive at PBBC at 1pm for informal time of getting acquainted
• Officially get started with prayer and mapping out the mission with resources, who goes where, and how it all gets done.
• Head out to our community by 1:45pm and serve the Lord together until 4pm
• Return to the Church for fellowship & Activity. Weather permitting, we will have firepit and outdoor games.
• Conclude with testimonies, worship and dinner served at 5pm
